Emily Thomas is a reportage illustrator and Arts Co-ordinator, based full time with CW+.

She has an interest in documenting everyday life and engaging with people and places through drawing. Her first artist residency with CW+ began in 2021, where she documented the work of the Volunteering Programme as part of Drawn II.

Emily then went on to become Artist in Residence at West Middlesex Hospital, drawing and engaging with staff to celebrate 100 years of the hospital. In her role as Arts Co-ordinator, Emily uses drawing as a tool for communication and consultation with patients and staff.
